Can I use the mesh visor to cut metal?

Absolutely not. Mesh visor stops coarse wood chips but lets through fine dust, sparks and microscopic metal shavings. For metals you need polycarbonate compulsorily.

Does the visor replace goggles?

It depends on the risk assessment (DVR). It is often recommended to wear goggles under the visor to ensure eye protection even if the visor is lifted momentarily.

How to clean a polycarbonate visor?

Use only plain water and mild soap, drying with soft microfiber cloths so as not to scratch the surface. Avoid paper or rough fabrics that will dull the lens over time.
