Can cut-resistant gloves be washed?

Most synthetic fiber (HPPE) cut-resistant gloves can be washed while maintaining performance. Always check the data sheet: use of bleach or incorrect temperatures can degrade the fibers and reduce the level of protection.

Do dielectric gloves have an expiration date?

Yes, latex insulating gloves should be checked every 6 months (dielectric testing). Even if never used, they should not be used if one year has passed from the date of manufacture without retesting.

Better cut-resistant Level 5 or F?

The old wording "Level 5" refers to the Coup (rotating blade) test. The new standard uses the TDM (straight blade) test with letters A through F. A Level F is currently the maximum protection available (over 30 Newtons of strength).
