How long does a semi-mask last?

The mask body, if well maintained (washed after each use with warm water and mild soap, stored away from light), can last for years. Exhalation valves and seals should be checked periodically and replaced if dry or deformed.

Can I use the half-mask with a beard?

No. The beard prevents the rubber gasket from adhering to the skin of the face, creating unfiltered air passages (loss of inward seal) that negate the protection of the PPE.

Are the filters universal?

It depends on the attachment. There are standard attachments (e.g., EN 148-1 threads) and proprietary "bayonet" attachments (specific to each marca such as Delta Plus or Mask Italia). Always check for compatibility.
