Does thermal underwear have to be tight-fitting?

Yes, technical underwear must be tight-fitting (skin-fit) to function properly. If the fabric does not touch the skin, it cannot absorb sweat and the thermoregulation function is compromised.

Why not use cotton as the first layer?

Cotton absorbs moisture but does not expel it, staying wet for a long time. This causes the body to cool quickly as soon as you stop, unlike the technical synthetic fibers inprofessional winterclothing.

How should technical underwear be washed?

We recommend washing at 30°C with neutral detergents. Never use fabric softener, as it closes the micropores in the fibers and destroys the breathability of the garment.
