What is air clearance?

Air pull is the minimum clear distance under the operator's feet required to safely arrest the fall without hitting the ground or obstacles. It should be calculated by adding the length of the lanyard, the opening of the absorber, and the height of the operator.

What is the difference between EN 358 and EN 361?

EN 361 certifies the fall arrest harness (with suspenders and leg loops) suitable for arresting a fall. EN 358 covers only work positioning (waist belt), and CANNOT be used by sola to arrest a fall.

Who can review Category III PPE?

Annual periodic overhaul is required by law and must be carried out by "competent person" authorized by the manufacturer or by the manufacturer himself, who will issue a certificate of suitability.
